Site development
Site development stages:
-
Wireframing. Defining the goals and objectives, targeted group, structure development.
Programming/CMS. Content Management System.
Design. Graphic design, illustrations, banners, logo creation.
HTML layout
Evedently site development is divided into several stages, the most important of which is Wireframing. It uncludes development of the information plan, the general structure of a site, preparation of the report and development of the site prototype. It is difficult to create quality resource without wireframe. This is checked on the experience of the majority of our clients who tried to create the site but got workless resource.
Usually in the project of site development the following people are busy: customer, project manager, developer, designer and programmer (in order not to project something impossible).
On this stage we work out all crucial decisions:
-
what information the site will contain;
content arrangement on a site;
on what sections it’ll be divided;
how many pages will be on site;
site navigation.
The outcome of this stage is the site prototype (a site with working links, without design).
Then the site is programmed, granting to it projected functionality. Quality programming is necessary for successful and convenient site use.
Our company worked out the CMS (Content Managerment System). With it's help any person will be able to support the site.
We set CMS on the site prototype in order to make site editable for you. With the help of CMS you can edit the content of the site, add photos and pictures, add and delete sections and subsections of the site. For some specific site functions additional modules can be worked out.
Also on this stage the site is filled in with the content.
As the result we get fully working site but without design.
Graphic designers start the development of the site design based on prototype. Working out the site design is made on the basis of “white and black site” and the materials got during the wireframing stage. The site is designed taking into account your wishes. At this stage the site acquires its appearance. The design specifications for all page types are made; it means finished interface graphics for page templates, logos, buttons and backgrounds.
Then, the layout must be made. On this stage all the web pages are constructed. (Usually the page consists of pictures and they should be cut in to pieces, and then optimized).
When the design and functionality are superposed, html layout is finished, the site is ready to launch.
